Big Shaheen Cabin, on the shore of Hasselborg Lake in Alaska’s Tongass National Forest, is available to rent for a very reasonable 45 dollars a night. Getting to the cabin will take a bit of effort:

Access is by float plane or canoe with portage. It is about a 45-minute flight from Juneau. By canoe and portage, it is about 10 miles (16 km) from Mole Harbor. Occasionally poor weather can result in extended stays, and cabin users should be prepared for this. In fall, winter, and early spring, the cabin may be inaccessible due to frozen lake surface (float planes cannot land). The lake is normally ice free from mid-May through November.
